Sciententia
Project Overview
This project focused on supporting the transformation of an established wellness company with over two decades of history into a modern, scalable business prepared for international growth. The company had been operating ZenBev, a science-backed sleep powder, for more than 20 years, and was preparing to launch Zelatonin, a new spray-based sleep aid.
The mission was clear: to deliver effective, science-driven, ethical sleep solutions to consumers worldwide. But despite its strong foundation, the company struggled with outdated branding, the wrong target audience, and fragmented operations across multiple products. The opportunity was to consolidate, reposition, and build a new umbrella identity capable of scaling into Europe, North America, and beyond.
Client Background
Business Stage: Established (25+ years), in need of transformation
Goals and Vision: Consolidate legacy and new products under one strong brand, capture global market share, and establish themselves as leaders in science-backed wellness solutions
Our Role in the Project
Tawlé entered initially to work on marketing strategy but quickly expanded into a leadership role covering all five consulting pillars. Our work focused on redefining how the company presented itself, consolidating its products under one umbrella, and setting the direction for scale. Execution of the visual identity and creative assets was done in collaboration with a marketing agency, while we directed the strategic framework.
Finance: Introduced pricing models, forecasting systems, and growth-aligned financial planning
Operations: Consolidated logistics, fulfillment, warehousing, and supplier systems to prepare for scale
Branding: Built the strategic positioning, messaging, and brand architecture for Scientia in collaboration with an agency partner
Client Experience: Developed customer journeys, email flows, and communications standards to increase engagement
Business Growth: Designed short-term launch strategies and long-term global expansion roadmaps
Deliverables included brand identity and messaging frameworks, audits, launch strategies, financial models, go-to-market plans, content strategies, influencer marketing frameworks, and system templates. We also acted as project director, aligning agencies, internal stakeholders, and service providers to ensure implementation matched the strategic plan.
Audit: Full review of ZenBev and Zelatonin’s operations, branding, finances, and market positioning.
Strategy: Recommended consolidating under one company (Scientia) to avoid competition between products and strengthen market presence. Designed 6-month, 1-year, and 3-year growth plans covering launch sequencing, product rollouts, and international expansion.
Action Plan: Guided legal, operational, and logistical consolidation while establishing brand identity, packaging, and a scalable marketing engine. Oversaw implementation in partnership with design and marketing agencies.

Results & impact
The systems and strategies we put in place positioned the company to:
Launch Zelatonin with projections of 50,000 units sold within the first six months, scaling toward 100,000 units monthly within the first year
Generate an estimated $5M in revenue within three years
Expand sales from Estonia, Germany, Denmark, France, and the UK toward North America and the Middle East
Transition from fragmented operations into a streamlined, consolidated structure under one unified brand
Shift target audience from a narrow, misaligned group to a younger, growth-oriented consumer base, unlocking far greater demand potential
Establish a clear long-term vision for new product lines and market leadership in science-backed sleep and wellness solutions
