Gold Jewelry
Project Overview
This project focused on supporting the growth and repositioning of a five-year-old jewelry brand operating in Egypt within a highly competitive and oversaturated market. Despite strong products and steady demand, the business had plateaued after years of working with multiple agencies that failed to deliver clarity, consistency, or measurable growth.
The founders had invested significant time and money into marketing efforts that led nowhere. Execution was fragmented, messaging was unclear, and there was no system to guide decisions or next steps. The business was breaking even, repeating the same actions, and slowly losing momentum.
The risk was clear: continued stagnation, loss of motivation, and disappearing into a crowded market with no clear differentiation.
Client Background
Business Stage: Growing, approaching an established phase but stuck at a plateau
Goals and Vision:
Short term: Build a clear, consistent marketing system that resonates with the right audience
Long term: Transition into a primarily online business, positioned as high-end (just below luxury), with a strong brand presence and healthy, scalable revenue
Challenges:
Operating in an oversaturated jewelry market with weak positioning
Repeatedly working with agencies that failed to deliver results or clarity
Lacking direction on what to prioritize and what steps to take next
Our Role in the Project
Tawlé entered as a strategic partner to restore clarity and direction. While we reviewed operations, client experience, and growth levers, the core focus of this project was marketing.
Our role included:
Marketing: Defined positioning, messaging, audience segmentation, content direction, and overall marketing strategy
Operations: Reviewed internal capacity to ensure the strategy matched the team’s resources and budget
Client Experience: Assessed how the brand showed up across touchpoints and where trust and consistency were breaking
Business Growth: Aligned marketing efforts with long-term expansion and online scalability goals
Rather than adding more tactics, we simplified, structured, and built a system the client could actually execute.
the Process
Audit: We conducted a full review of the brand’s existing online presence, previous agency work, campaigns, deliverables, contracts, and overall marketing efforts. This phase focused on understanding what had been done, what failed, and why clarity was missing.
Strategy: We built a complete marketing strategy from A to Z, covering positioning, audience definition, messaging, channels, and content direction. A dedicated workshop was held with the founders to deeply understand their vision, expectations, and non-negotiables, which became the foundation for all strategic decisions.
Action Plan: We delivered a realistic, capacity-aligned, plug-and-play marketing system. This included clear priorities, execution guidelines, and a roadmap that matched the client’s budget, team size, and growth ambitions, allowing them to move forward without dependency on agencies.
Results & impact
When implemented, the systems and strategy position the brand to:
Increase revenue by an estimated 10× within the first year
Eliminate wasted marketing spend and focus only on actions that generate returns
Build consistent audience growth across platforms
Tighten brand identity, both visually and strategically
Transition confidently toward online expansion and a higher-end market position
Move from reactive decision-making to structured, intentional growth
